Sketching while on the subway is not a good idea. I have about 25 minutes on the Red Line into school and I thought that would be a good way to get my half hour of sketching in. Bad idea. Jerky subway cars packed with people is not an ideal drawing place.

I think it's terrific.
I also try to do a little drawing whenever I'm on the train into Rome, which is only about once a week these days. I have learned not to fret overmuch if it turns out a bit jiggly. My train ride is about 45 minutes, enough time to get at least a little progress done.
