Another attempt at alla prima painting. This one was quite a struggle. I don't think I nailed it, but it came out a lot better than I thought it was going to at the start. It began like my cloud soup before, but then I took a break, and came back to the easel ready for more. That is also the beauty of working with oils instead of acrylics!

Hi Dana, thanks! I was just checking out your blog as well, are all your works alla prima? the brush strokes look very fresh... mine tend to get muddy. I think im trying to blend too much.
