The actual painting part of this is complete as of today. I need to finish the edges of the painting and then varnish it, but all in all, this is done. I have learned a lot with this painting. I could also see how my classes at the Boston Academy of Realist Art have paid off. The paint I apply is speaking to the FORMS and not just replicating what I see.
This was a very special painting for my client. I hope that the love I have put into painting this comes through and I can somewhat bring her son back to her if only within this canvas.
The photo taken of this needs to be re-taken since it will look totally different once everything is varnished.
