I now start with my original transform process and fine tune with the Lens Correction. It works wonders! Thanks again. -Don-Donhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17549962962379079880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33977112.post-78302477233607003322009-06-12T08:46:43.047-04:002009-06-12T08:46:43.047-04:00Don -that what i used to do as well...the nice thi...Don -that what i used to do as well...the nice thing about lens correct is that it adjusts the image within as well to correct for the distortion. It gives you a grid on top fo your image so you can fine tune it. I HIGHLY recommend it!!! maybe should do a tutorial post for it?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08814284264633157721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33977112.post-37458367699508519272009-06-12T08:00:51.191-04:002009-06-12T08:00:51.191-04:00excellent work :)excellent work :)John Hlavinkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07848460287964459735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33977112.post-21802359984460260652009-06-11T20:15:05.404-04:002009-06-11T20:15:05.404-04:00When I shoot my paintings I always do it at a slig...When I shoot my paintings I always do it at a slight angle the way you do. However, I've never used Lens Correction - which is a good idea.

I copy/paste my photo into a Photoshop document that is the size of the original painting at 300dpi, hit Control + T (Free Transform), and then hold the Control button down as I pull each corner to the edge of the document. It's easier to show someone than tell them, but it works pretty well for me.

Oh yeah, great painting! I didn't even realize it was a painting at first. I thought it was mixed media with found objects...very 3D. Great job.

-Don-Donhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17549962962379079880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33977112.post-7240292992991412912009-06-11T10:11:31.874-04:002009-06-11T10:11:31.874-04:00This is a phenomenal painting Julie!!
