Hi Julie: Thanks for your nice comments on my blog! Much appreciated! I love your work!! Yes, acrylics are really so much better than oils in many ways! I feel much better about using water instead of turpentine, and my painting is going much faster! I'm still getting used to the colors, though. Struggling a bit with getting nice reds, etc. But I'm determined to stick with it. You should try ACEO's! They're fun to do, and people really seem to like buying them!
