This morning, after I dropped my husband off at the train station and Zoey off at doggy daycare (don't judge me) I came home...and normally when id go back to bed for an hour or so, I decided to try and get some more work done on this painting.
It's 30 by 30, which is the same size as the revolver painting... and it's huge. I think the hardest part is going to be getting the wall and shadow to look right...since it's so much empty space with smooth color.
This is after session #2 and the photo im working from. I know I should be working from life, but working in the spare room isn't a good place to have a still life set up when you have people coming over all the time and a broken leg. Plus I've never been one to follow the rules...so why should I start now?

I love it! I love Mason jars, I definitely want to paint one at some point. This is going to be awesome - can't wait to see the finished piece!
That's really awesome! I thought it was a photo at first because it's no realistic looking!
