For the past 2 years, I have monopolized our 2nd bedroom with my painting stuff. I call it My Studio That Also Has a Futon In It. Well this weekend my husband decided he was going to reclaim half of what is his...and demanded we get a desk so when either of us work from home, it doesn't involve the dining room table or the living room couch.
So we made the journey out to Target. Now for people who are low on cash, looking for somewhat-solid furniture that you can fit in your car and take home from the store and assemble easily in the desired room because your staircase is wicked thin and curved...then Target is the place to shop. Granted not every piece of furniture is perfect...sometimes the screws are weird, sometimes there's a nick here or there. But convenience and immediate satisfaction are worth it in my book.
Last year we replaced our giant ugly heavy TV cabinet with a nice sleek dark brown TV stand from Target. Since we were so happy with that piece, we returned for this desk:
Needless to say, I'm very very happy with it!
