Not to mention that I have to put everything aside because I have the smallest house ever and the only place to let these dry is on my desk. One of these days I am going to have a giant open studio and install a collapsable surface that hinges down from the wall like a giant folding ironing board that i can let these dry on.
next step... hardware - sawtooth, wire and D-Rings.... hot stuff.

I know what you mean about varnish! A while ago I started using Grumbacher's aerosol Damar varnish, which I like. The trick is to hold the canvas at an angle to the spray and keep it light. I spray in several different directions to keep it even.
All the paintings look so beautiful laying there.
Oh I am with you on hating the varnishing stage. Ick! I take my paintings out to the sun porch or just outside my front door in the stairwell to dry. I can only varnish about 3 or 4 at a time, so it's time consuming... Studio space, what a dream, right?!
The button paintings look really great! Serious detail!
Holy Cow! So, don't even give a girl a minute to enjoy her own painting... :) I was so surprised to see that painting slip through my fingers before I had the chance to blink! I think that's just about the quickest I've ever sold a painting!!
I'm sure it is a pain, but they look so nice all laid out that way. Hopefully, one day you will get that studio you have planned out!
