Painting in Progress: Pomegranate

This photo is from a blog painting challenge. It's a past photo... since I just found the blog and I'm not super hot on the current photo... but this person takes great reference photos and has a way of making people focus on different aspects of painting for each challenge. I really enjoy it. I am going to try my hand at Challenge number 11 on Paint and Draw Together.

I am still getting quite a thrill out of how well my drawings are developing. It was always so tedious and time consuming but since I started my classes at the Academy, the process is getting faster and I can move on to the painting.
