The top image is the finished larger key painting. I went at it with some paint, medium, and a palatte knife for the background and then went over the keys in a slightly more loose paint strokes...which was the original purpos eof the painting.

After finishing that, I had so much paint mixed up left over i decided to do another quick still life. Ironically i like this one better than the larger one becuase i just started putting paint on the canvas without too much thought. The middle images is a little lighter than it actually is...colors are a bit more true to the lower photo.
