Painting in Progress: It's Us Against the World

The blog "Paint and Draw Together" is another challenge blog that I like to take a look at every now and again. The pomegranate photo from my recently completed painting was from there actually. This challenge is due in 5 days and I have a feeling this won't be done by then... but hey I can try!

The first pass isn't too bad. I know the reds are always a challenge, which I had to deal with during the pomegranate painting. The changes in the 3D object in terms of color, color temperature, and the range of tones are going to be what I focus on for now. I will definitely be working on this tonight, so maybe we'll have some decent progress.
